My Second Favorite National Park

First day in Zion! Woke up in my tent to Quinn reminding me that you can't sleep in till noon when you are camping. But I got my butt moving and we went on a great hike up to Scott's Landing. Sadly my speech skill was not high enough to convince a Park Ranger to let us walk the chains up to Angels Landing without a permit.

After that I learned that Gatorade out of an aluminum can tastes much better (it was definitely because of the can and not the 7 mile 95 degree hike). But we went back to the campsite and proceeded to bake in the sun until Quinn whipped out his nice car tent cover.

We spent the rest of the day hanging at the campsite and researching for the Narrows hike tomorrow. Zion is such a beautiful park.
