Started the day by heading to the Navajo Nation and driving to Monument Valley. The whole car right there I was like, "this must be it, it is so beautiful!" But it never was. Until got to the visitor center and was greeted to some of the most unquie lanscapes I've ever seen.

It feels like the whole 300 square miles was made by imagineers. And they had a sick ride! You could pay 15 bucks to drive your car on a rough road all around the sandstone pillars. It is the first time driving had ever felt like hiking. You had to put so much focus into driving and were driving so slow that it was tiring just because of the mental focus and 2 1/2 hour 17mi long ride.

But the 2010 Chrysler, with a bike tow, and filled with weight didn't break a sweat! I am so impressed by that car even 300 thousand miles later.

The rest of the day was spent driving to Zion, getting a Chinese buffet and stocking up at Walmart. The evening was made perfect by good weather and the arrival of Quinn to our campsite! We stayed up too late talking and catching up. But eventually after getting a noise complaint, we figured we should hit the hay and be ready for Angels Landing tomorrow morning!
