Had a great day in Missoula!
Mostly full of chores, but still fun. Got some of my laundry done, went to the beautifully modern local library, and packed up at Walmart.
In between that time I got to walk the main river walk, where a community event had just finished wrapping up. The standout feature of the city being the manmade rapid right in the middle of town that skilled water bugs are able to surf! But otherwise you can just stand around jeering at the tiny kids screaming as they ride their kayak down it.
Meal was a 8/10, rice and chicken can't hate that. And the Laundromat was an 11/10, nicest customer service I've gotten since I've been out.
Then on the way out of the city I was waved farewell by some parachuters, who were trailing the American flag, streamers, and a smoke bomb. Very fun.
The rest of the day was the drive to Glacier, which was a beautiful stretch of road with a great sunset to welcome me to my my biggest stop on the trip!
TLDR: cracker barrels are underrated... Or at least their parking lots are.
